LTL case studies using the Cheetah Freight™ system

Cort Furniture Rental's Washington D.C. branch struggled for years with manual processes. Dispatchers relied on printouts to calculate routes and posted updates on paper copies of each truck's manifest. But with hundreds of thousands of pieces of furniture to pick up and drop off each year, efficiency began to suffer and costs skyrocketed.

Ward’s old manual dispatching system was inefficient. It required clerical data entry and continual voice instructions for drivers over two-way radio. Dispatchers had to call drivers to ask if they had made their deliveries and if not when they would arrive. There was zero visibility into the fleet. Drivers were delayed up to an hour each day before they received their pickup assignments and clerks spent hours at the end of each day entering data into the system.

Distribution & Delivery case studies using Cheetah Delivery™ system

With offices in St. Louis, Indianapolis and Kansas City JS Logistics uses the Cheetah Delivery system for time-sensitive deliveries and express courier services, primarily in Missouri, Kansas, Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana and Illinois. JS logistics now efficiently handles twice as much business with half the dispatching staff. The company can inexpensively expand operations to other major markets while increasing margins. Costs are about 20 to 30 percent lower than those of competitors as Dispatching and Customer Service is centralized in St. Louis.

Temco of Pomona, California uses Cheetah Delivery for home delivery, service trucking and general freight services throughout Southern California. Temco managed something it has struggled with for years – expanding beyond 500-600 deliveries per day while remaining profitable. By implementing Cheetah Delivery, Temco’s volume of traffic has soared and its margins have increased due to increased efficiency.

There are many other companies across the U.S. and Canada now using the Cheetah System, including:

Federated Department Stores Inc., parent of Macy’s and Bloomingdales, utilizes the Cheetah Delivery System for Big Ticket deliveries.

Howards Appliance and Big Screen use Cheetah Delivery for home deliveries.

Southern Counties uses the Cheetah Delivery system for drayage (container shipping).
