Robert M. Darroll
Founder, Chairman of the Board, President and CEO

Originally from South Africa, Robert (Bobby) Darroll has more than 30 years of professional business computer experience with an emphasis in logistics, routing and scheduling. He studied Computer Science and Statistics at the University of the Witwatersrand, South Africa.

Prior to founding Cheetah Software in 1987, Mr. Darroll worked as a systems engineer at Perseus Computing. While there, he represented IBM in South Africa and created logistics solutions for Total Oil.

Mr. Darroll is one of the world's leading experts in logistics, business solutions, and future directions in the retail world. Stemming from his intense interest in computerized solutions to logistics and customer service issues, he designed and developed the original Cheetah System, the first of its kind for retailers in the United States.

Jeff Groenke
Vice President of Sales and Marketing

Jeff Groenke has over 20 years of executive and sales experience in the transportation and logistics industries and is a graduate of the Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota. Mr. Groenke served as CEO at Edge Logistics prior to joining Cheetah.

In previous senior executive sales and marketing and management positions at Ward Transportation and Logistics, DHL Express and FedEx Ground (RPS), Mr. Groenke demonstrated outstanding leadership abilities and the expertise necessary to grow revenues by dramatically improving responsiveness to customer needs and identifying new market opportunities.

Mr. Groenke is responsible for Cheetah’s sales and marketing strategy and execution, and for ensuring that the company is prepared to anticipate and exceed customer expectations.

Greg Confer
Vice President of Business and Logistics Solutions

Greg Confer is a 20-year veteran of the transportation industry with experience in trucking, warehousing, and logistics. Mr. Confer began his transportation career with RPS (Now FedEx ground) where he served as Corporate Linehaul Manager coordinating the linehaul operations of 30 hubs and nearly 400 satellite terminals.

In 2004, Mr. Confer accepted a position with Ward Transport and Logistics Corporation as the Director of Process Analysis and Improvement, where he researched, planned, and successfully implemented the Cheetah Solution within the first few months of his tenor. 

Greg is responsible for ensuring that Cheetah’s customers receive the technologies and support they need to improve their profitability and scalability. In addition to managing the implementation of Cheetah solutions, Greg works with new customers and Cheetah staff to define product requirements, functionality, and objectives and help align Cheetah’s future products with customer needs.

Hal Roseman
Systems Architect

Hal Roseman has over 29 years professional experience in the business world. This includes research and engineering positions with the UCLA Manufacturing, Aerospace, and Nuclear Engineering Department and Hughes Aircraft Electro-Optical and Data Systems Group. Additionally, he has held engineering positions with two start-up software companies, and was responsible for all aspects of software product production, including design, engineering, documentation, marketing, sales, and support.

In 1986, Mr. Roseman received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Linguistics and Computer Science from the University of California at Los Angeles. He joined Cheetah Software Systems in August 1991 as its Director of Product Support. In 1995, he was promoted to Systems Architect. He is responsible for designing and engineering the latest Cheetah products and systems.
