New Cheetah Offering Providers Real-time Access to Orders

WESTLAKE VILLAGE, Calif.-Cheetah Software Systems, a provider of real-time logistics and dispatch solutions for delivery, less-than-truckload (LTL), courier and private fleet operations, and Autologue Computer Systems, an applications systems software provider for the auto parts distribution business, announced this week they have teamed up to launch Cheetah Delivery Express, a delivery routing and dispatch software solution for the auto part distribution channel.
A Cheetah spokesperson told Logistics Management that Cheetah Delivery Express will be comprised of a real-time interface to Autologue, giving visibility to the drivers actual GPS locations and live ETAs for each stop using Google Earth Satellite view and a driver application running on a Nextel GPS enabled phone. This enables the specific tracking of drivers and their loads anywhere along the route, and it updates every three seconds.
