FMCSA Publishes CSA 2010 Data

Fleetowner reports that the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) has posted CSA 2010 data on the FMCSA website. Carriers can now assess their safety rankings relative to other carriers according to the seven CSA 2010 Behavior Analysis and Safety Improvement Categories.

Those include:

  • Unsafe Driving
  • Fatigued Driving (Hours of Service)
  • Driver Fitness
  • Controlled Substances/Alcohol
  • Vehicle Maintenance
  • Cargo-Related
  • Crash Indicator
CSA 2010 promised to have a significant impact on carrier viability going forward, and Cheetah plans to stay on top of this most important transportation issue.
